I can usually only make it to the second thunder these days

Sad

But what a thunder clap it is :datass:

If you're giving her the clap, you're doing it wrong.

Dude, that was The Sound Of Music.

I wouldn't mind hearing Julie Andrews reciting her scales if you know what I mean.

Even now :shifty:

I have always found your opposition to furry so weird in the context of what you do like.

Most people who have the experience of belonging to a subculture learn to be accepting of other people and not engage with that, but I guess some people just have a need to feel superior and direct that need either outwards back into the mainstream ("normies!!! :x ") or sideways into another subculture ("I might like anime catgirls but at least I'm not a furry!!!").

Saying that, I'm pretty sure Qikz is just joking around.

Where do Nazi furries fit into this?

Seeing as all the furry conventions have been putting up 'Nazi Furs F**k Off' signs, not very well.

Every fandom has its pockets of strangeness.

Nazi furries are a new level of strawberry floating stupidity, sure they’d be treated well under fascism.

If that’s true that’s the lamest gooseberry fool I think I’ve ever heard.

I'm afraid it's true. I actually removed some cringe from the story for the sake of brevity. Click at risk of cringing so hard you become an embarrassment black hole and enter the shame dimension:
So this happened when I was student, and a bunch of us were drinking together. My friend says she has a funny, cringey story to tell us, and says she met this guy, he seemed nice, but... "then when he was finishing, he like shouted this thing, it was like a magic spell. It was really sudden and awkward. Afterwards he told me it's from some videogame he likes." She's not in to games, so it wasn't even an attempt to make her laugh or anything.

At this point - and bear in mind Oxford is a very small world, and there's usually at most one degree of separation between any two students - another pal of mine interjects, 'Err, was his name [dude's name]? Did the spell sound like FUS ROH DAH?' She's like, what, yeah, how...? It turns out he knew the dude, though not well - I had actually met him in passing too a couple of years before - and apparently he's been telling the story to absolutely anyone who'll listen. Seems to think he's pulled off something absolutely hilarious.

By this point we were pissing ourselves, and she's obviously cool enough to see the funny side, but she was basically mortified that there was, like, this parallel neckbeard social group out there that all think she got owned by this weirdo.

I am currently writing a letter to a Mr Savile who lives on Yew Tree Lane.

Either that banana split isn't really dead or somebody really ought to change their name/move house.

No, he has ordered a track suit and a book on anaesthetic.

You really don’t. Other than his surname and the street name, there is nothing very interesting about the letter.

Dear Mr Savile,

Thank you for the photos that you forwarded to our "Paedo of the Year" competition. Unfortunately we are unable to accept your entry as the photos were all clearly taken in the 70s and 80s. Please resubmit with more up to date evidence of your activities.

Yours sincerely

Saw Ant-man 2. My main takeaway was: Michelle Pfeiffer at 60, still absolutely would.

I thought that too but as the face lad said, it’s all about Evangeline Lily.

Well I’d spent most the film enjoying Kate from Lost.

There’s room in my heart for both.
