Salon is half price today so getting my nails done. Got new glasses, hair recoloured, and a new wardrobe of office wear since I’m finally getting out of uniform to start my new management post next week. Just need to buy a handbag and I’m hoping that looking like someone who has their gooseberry fool together and knows what they’re doing will sort out the absolute imposter syndrome I’m feeling about it.

Thanks for the kind words. It’s hard to value yourself highly in a market of low paid jobs where you’re easily replaceable. I’m hoping that I’ve learned from the good managers I’ve had, and can avoid making the mistakes the not so good ones made. Happy employees = happy service users.

Must be someone who's real life name is similar to their forum name..

To know thier voice, it will be someone from the podcasts.

It was both the name and the email address that gave it away

Username here doesn't have to be like their real name. There's loads of people here whose real names are common knowledge.

i.e loads of people here know MCN's name. I'd say the email address is the clincher and that's likely to be close to their forum name.
