Starting to think my panda pops in a Haven caravan park weren't the high-class holiday I always imagined

Bunch of 1%ers on here. The 99% know that Panda Pops in Brean was the true way to spend a childhood holiday.

I get a free Orangina with sushi every Sunday, still in a bumpy glass bottle.

It is a terrible addition to the meal.

You're not supposed to pour it on the sushi

Rockley Park in Poole , REPRESENT! 8-)

EDIT:
Oh dear, seems to have a bad review recently:

The Rusty Knight 1/5
5 days ago on Google

Edited review: EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT. The park has got more events on but heaven forbid you wish to photo your kid doing any of them! Was actually told that if a child approached me that would be fine though! So to be clear there is no signage stating no photos, nor is there a barrier or anything else between. SADLY THARS NOT ALL. The food is still much to be desired. If you can get a table at the fish restaurant you're more or less ok but it took 45 mins for anything to turn up from the family diner and what did turn up was cold and tasteless - we could have cooked it with the terrible equipment in our caravan for half the price and probably should have done. Finally, if you should be unlucky enough have any food intolerances then you are going to have to self cater anyway effectively making the complex useless. The food is pre packed mainly and alterations can't be made. There is literally NOTHING on the menu for anyone carbohydrate sensitive, gluten intolerant, or lactose free. In short if your looking for a family holiday worth the price of this place GO ELSEWHERE!

My Orangina's were always consumed on caravan holidays to west Wales so I think I know who's winning the childhood holiday competition here! :datass:

It's the middle of May and the weather said it felt like -1 over here yesterday. By contrast, today it's at a balmy 6 degrees. WTF!?

Sunny Delight or bust back in the day.

Remember the story of the girl who's skin turned orange because she drank far too much?

I don't think Sunny Delight even existed back when I was a kid!

I remember thinking Panda Pops were amazing back in the day but I think that was largely down to the fact that we basically never had "fizzy" drinks as kids, I suspect the Panda Pops were in fact actually disgusting.

It was Corporation Pop™ all the way in our household. :(

Top Deck Limeade and Lager was the drink of choice for any self respecting teenager back in the day.

The really cool kids had Tab Clear.

Us plebs felt lucky to have flat Panda Pops.

I genuinely think I had a "fizzy drink" on fewer than 5 times when I was a kid, and those were probably at friends birthday parties or something similar. It was tap water or squash all the way in our house, if it was a special occasion then real fruit juice might make an appearance!

This probably explains why I am now borderline addicted to Pepsi Max! :slol:
