Much better than reality, so this is now canon.

Bloody elves, coming to our mountain-halls, shaving our women's beards. Go back to Imladris where you belong.

Say I was going to be in Newcastle for a weekend, where should I stay and what the strawberry float is there to do there?

Newcastle is a brilliant city, you won't have any problems finding places to eat or drink. I don't know the city that well but Redhouse down near the quayside does great pies, I like The Charles Grey by monument, Nitehawks by the theatre is a small and cool place, and it might be worth seeing what's on at the Tyneside Cinema which is an independent refurbed '30s cinema (last time I was up I saw Close Encounters there). You could check if there is anything on at the Sage in Gateshead as well.

If the weather is good then consider getting the metro out to Tynemouth for the beach and fish and chips. There are ruins of the castle/priory on the front and there is a short walk to the Collingwood monument which I at least found interesting.

Was looking after my eldest nephew (12) and his mate today and I've learnt that his age group watch YouTube vids of youths doing wheelies in front of cars, buses and pedestrians; and that these kinds of guys are practically idolised. Then they watch vids of youngsters swinging "butterfly knives". But mainly they play Fortnite or watch videos about Fortnite.

I feel extra old and bemused.

Kids have always had bad role models, and/or egged each other on to do stupid things, but there does seem to be something particularly insidious about the 24 hour "interaction" they can have with these terrible people nowadays.

I can remember in the 80s and 90s, VHS tapes of stunts, dangerous skateboarding and other dumb things. After that Jackass was on TV.

My school friends and I acquired a camcorder and made our own version of Jackass. It's was kind of lame in retrospect, but it was fun at the time.

Check out my YouTube channel!

Yeah not to mention a lot of the stunt/prank shows and crap now on youtube actively try to make it seem like they are real, whereas with stuff like Jackass at least they gave a warning not to try it at home.

Poor cropping and framing 1/10 would not buy

are you looking for cash or to get games for other systems? If it's more games, take it to game or something and swap it for steam credit etc. I took Mario kart and a few others in and got BOTW for switch for 47p :datass:

To be fair - Morgoth had done something pretty unforgivable. He couldn’t just let it lie.

Always blaming Melkor. If Ilúvatar hadn't been such a strict twat, then the music would have been fine and everyone would have gotten along.

Illuvatar accepted the musical changes and the music flowed on. Wasn’t it Manwe who caused the fuss about Melkor’s discord?
