Not when the bus you'll likely be able to get will make you late for work anyway. IBS is a bitch.

:dread: .

I always need an hour :shifty: . Get up, have breakfast (cereal), check the news headlines, wash and dress... that's a sixty-minute timescale.

Ugh. Hate getting up at six am. 20 years and it still bothers me.

I woke up an hour early this morning. It’s horrible as I knew I wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep. :x

So I had an extra long poo and listened to the new episode of the Parapod.

The worst is when you realise that you are still dead.

Sounds like someone was a bit too excited about the Balloon Fiesta!

Waking up early is an amazing if it's early enough that there is time to go back to sleep. Nothing beats that feeling of "oh gooseberry fool, it's not morning already is it? Wait no, it's not! Back to sleep for me!" :toot:

I can be out of the house from waking within 5 minutes, easily. My morning routine is clothes, teeth, out.

The balloon fiesta pales into insignificance compared to the dread I am feeling about the rest of the day. :toot:

Another work day another day of doing nothing :/

Boss I assume is at Aberdeen branch and I've asked around if there's anything I can do and only got assigned to help client with job search which I've been doing, but done good amount of that and waiting to hear back from them.

Normally I won't mind but the fact I took 3hr journey to get here and will take another three back to home makes it bit tiresome. I dunno, if I'm going to work, I expect to do some work at least... It'll speed up day more than sitting all day looking at monitor waiting for email to pop.

At least this coffee ain't bad...

Your commute is 3 hours?! Where do you live and work?

I live in small town near Ayr, which is about 45mins to 50mins roughly on bus. Then I had to get bus there to Glasgow... Which is one hour.

and some waiting/walking too

Fun

Maybe do some job searching of your own if it's a slow day.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Ha, that's the option. I've been told it'll get busier but it's been 7 months, was hoping it'll help me get used to busy environment

For now I'll have to do some job search soon -- That's closer to Ayr at least since I don't want full time work in Glasgow due to travelling.

Damn. Buses are always painfully slow in my experience, purposely taking the longest routes possible. I'm guessing trains aren't an option?

There is one from Ayr to Glasgow, but it takes equally same time and buses for me are free because of my disability whereabouts it's half price for trains. So buses seemed better option.

Ah, fair enough. Even with half-price tickets I'd imagine the cost of the train could soon mount up. Hope you have a good book/game to while away the hours. :toot:

That sounds like a beast of a commute, fair play!

I think the longest commute I've had for a protracted period was when I was travelling from South Wales to Gloucester which was about 1h40 each way. :dread:

Went to the Inari Shrine in Kyoto today. Bumped into an old colleague. Was fun.
