I got a very similar email a while ago, just ignored it.

I actually reported it to the spam police, but yeah, it's comforting to understand how widespread these are. Like I said, though, you can imagine people falling for it.

Today I'm about to under take a task more perilous than charting the Amazon river. I'm going to attempt to tidy up the cables behind the TV. Pray for me GR.

I've made some pretty good attempts at this in the past, using cable ties to get everything nice and neat.

It's great until you need to disconnect and move something, or change a cable. Then suddenly having the cables be tidy is the worst insult to your time that you can possibly imagine and you'll wish you'd never bothered because now you have to spend just as long re-doing everything all so you can do something with just one strawberry floating cable.

Christ this flu is not improving at all. Started spewing up blood last night too which was pleasant. Doctor I saw was very dismissive of the whole thing and told me to just drink lots of water and occasionally take paracetamol, wasn't very impressed.

I think I'd be asking for a second opinion if I was throwing up blood and a doctors response was "Drink water and take some paracetamol"

If I was spewing blood I would book myself into a hospice as I’d feel it was the end.

Can’t you go to another doctor? I don’t know the ins and outs of your medical condition, but spewing blood doesn’t sound like a good sign.

Yeah I would seek a second opinion at the very least by the sounds of things. Spewing up blood does not sound like a symptom that should be ignored in any circumstances really!

Think I just burst a blood vessel in my throat from all the coughing so that's why some was coming up.

Feel at my lowest now, managed a single slice of toast all day and can barely move from muscle pain and breathlessness. Please baby Jesus make me feel better tomorrow.

I just learnt that I am the same age as Tyson Fury. What the strawberry float . I always assumed he was about 40 years old!

My god he’s only 30! Thought he was well older than that.
