I hope everything works out SD, we're all here for you. I think, as others have said, it might be best to try and keep busy with other things for now as there's nothing else you can do but wait.

Ok so small update I called the hospital and the nurses couldn't tell me if she's reacting well to the treatment, but when I asked if she was awake they said yes and she seems to be reacting a bit more to the world around her so maybe that's a positive. Im going there in a bit. I want to make sure I eat lunch first, because yesterday I didn't and I felt terrible.

Ok update. She was speaking to me, not fully but she was conversing with me and wondered why I was so worried. I asked her if she was still fighting and she said yes and said I was scaring her because it was as if I thought she was going to die. She told me not to worry and said some very "my mum" things. Certainly a vast improvement over yesterday.

I saw the doctor and the doctor said that the consultant was happy with her progress and said while she's still critical she's at least stable and she's making the first steps towards recovery, something they didn't even mention once yesterday. She said they're going to keep my mum on the medication she's on and continue to monitor her at every step. She said she is on the road to recovery, but to keep in mind that she's not out of the woods yet and it's going to be a long, long road to recovery.

I'm feeling a lot more positive now and I'm still full of hope that she can get better, but I gave my mum a massive hug and told her I loved her (to which she replied I know you do (the most my mum thing ever)) and left her to have a sleep because she said she was exausted. I'm not as worried now, but obviously it's still going to be tough and I still need to be on guard for the worst, but if my stubborn mum thinks that she's going to get better I believe she is and more importantly she's not given up.

Happy for you that you got to talk to her and that you both are feeling a bit better.

Glad to hear she's improving man, and here's hoping that trend continues!

They are the weirdest and most annoying strawberry floating adverts going. The other one with the idiot walking down the street talking about his love of coke

Update, nurses on today don't know anything about my mum so they can't update me on the phone, but have said she's awake and hasn't eaten anything, but nothing overly terrible so i guess it's a good sign. Going back in this afternoon.

That Diet Coke one is weird because it's seemingly comparing it to things that are bad.
