I’m on a new ward for the night. The staff are nice, caring and do a good job. Except now that everyone is in bed the nursing station has now become adorned with tarot cards as they’re all doing readings on each other following some guide book.

Apparently, a patient here the other week is some kinda of medium, who has managed to sell books and cards to the whole ward, and is now hosting an exclusive to NHS reading night at a spiritualist church at a decent cost to them. While sick. (Apparently antibiotics are great healers, who strawberry floating knew?)

Gunna go sit with the alcohol related brain injury man because his ramblings and predatory hands are preferable to sitting at thisdesk hearing about strawberry floating chakras.

Maybe some planet is in retrograde which is why I’m so full of negative energy.

I knew a guy at work who was into tarrot cards and dice stuff.
It always amused me because he was also massively into D&D which uses random dice rolls a lot so I was unsure how he could see one set of dice and cards as totally random and another as presumably being set by the gods or fate?

He tried giving me a reading and I just politely told him I thought it was a load of old bollocks.

Yeah I’ve kept my mouth shut for now. Just said I’m not interest innit when they asked, but they’re nice people and I’m only here for the night so I’ll no bother telling them how strawberry floating stupid they are.

They actually have degrees and have worked using medical science for years but get swindled by some fancy printed cardboard. Okay then...

I can’t really criticise too much because my flat is full of the things. It’s certainly not for me, but whatever gets you through the day I say.

I’ve not seen that one thankfully, but I caught a bit of Joe Lycett’s game show on BBC1 last night. Truly dreadful. If that ITV show is worse then it really must be the worst of all time.

TV on a Saturday night is genuinely appalling. I don't watch much of it but I was so strawberry floated off with the football yesterday with Blackburn's defence and Andrew Dallas - somehow a worse referee than his dad - I shoved BBC on instead of Leeds Norwich and regretted my decision immensely.

Oh don't get me started on this gooseberry fool, I have to supress what I really think through gritted teeth when someone babbles on about that or "mood rings" or why they're feeling this because the planets are supposedly doing this...

...and then they'll bring out the pieces of rock! I remember walking around Covent Garden once and there was tons of it on sale. Purchase this stone and it would supposedly give you positive vibes, man and so on and so forth. At least a conch shell I have at home sounds like the sea when I put it to my ear. Do you know what this stone you're trying to sell me for 20 quid does, matey? strawberry float ALL.
