Season 3, especially after the mid-season break was where it all started rolling downhill for me. I was still invested in the characters, but I remember watching Ben and his strawberry floating rabbit walking up a hill revealing they were on another, separate island and wondering where the hell they were going with it all.

Pro tip: Spot a person who's never watched any decent TV by listening for "The Constant" when they're asked about favourite episodes of television.

You know it's true. The start of LOST was great. The Constant was terrible.

Last series was gooseberry fool on the whole but it had it's moments.

1-3 were godly though. I strawberry floating loved all the hatch stuff.

The time travel dharma stuff was awful though - take all the mystery and things that don't need to be said and spell it all out midichlorian style.

I never watched a single episode of Lost. Just somehow managed to avoid it, despite all the hype at the time it was on.

I'm currently watching S2 of American Gods and that's starting to be a bit of a chore to watch, its all very well produced but strawberry float me is it slowly paced, without going into spoilers I'm finding the whole Laura sideplot incredibly tedious and just wish they'd hurry up and resolve it so the focus can return to the main plot.

If you consider S2 of Lost to be godly then you need to learn to hold your deity's to a higher standard. It was a load of aimless shite!

Lost was for a time an excellent show that I looked forward to like no other week after week. Once Ben turned the wheel and the "When are we" stuff started happening, that's when it started going downhill. Everything prior to it was very good. Well, almost everything.

Lost might have been good if it had done terribly so they had to end it after two seasons.

I'd really like it if they'd used Lost's approach to pacing for Game of Thrones.

So, for example, after the red wedding cliffhanger, they'd follow up on with an episode where Jon, Tyrion and the Hound have a round of Golf.

I remember a Dominic Monaghan interview with Jonathan Ross where he claimed the writers originally wrote a plot for three seasons but had to scrap it after s02 when the network wanted more eps.

Oh well.

I'm also positive it was going to be purgatory but everybody guessed that so they had to do something different.

The real purgatory was watching the later seasons of the show

Currently drinking a glass of Orangina for the first time in, ooooh, 20 years (last time I had it was in a hotel in France). I could have sworn it had more bits in it though. And it came in a glass bottle, not plastic like now.

Pleasant enough though.

Let's be honest, no-one's really supposed to drink Orangina outside French hotels.

The little glass bottles with that bumpy shape (presumably to make it feel like the texture of an orange?) were one of the highlights of drinking an Orangina!

It is probably at least 25 years since I had one of those, always on family holidays I seem to recall.

Before or after the hollowed out orange peel full of orange ice cream?

Or was that just me?

Drinking orangina out of glass bottles in a hotel in France?

Starting to think my panda pops in a Haven caravan park weren't the high-class holiday I always imagined
