Whenever people say this I wonder if they've actually used any of the newer products within the past few years. BeatsX are among the best wireless earbuds for their price and the Solo Wireless 3s are brilliant, great sound quality (better than the Bose QC35 and wired AKGs I have) and the battery life is something crazy like 30-40 hours. Both have Apple's W1 chip so they're a pice of piss to pair with an Apple device and it automatically pairs with any other device using the same iCloud account, compared to the fancying about you have to do with normal bluetooth pairing.

I was tempted to get them but went for the Bose instead due to the better noise cancelling.

All you whippersnappers with your fancy bluetooth nonsense. What even is a pair of headphones if you can't put it away only to come back moments later and find the wires inextricably tangled together?

I had an amazing set of Sony bluetooth headphones back in the day - they weren't the tiny in-ear ones that everyone seems to be rocking today but they also weren't full on overear "cans" either. They looked a bit clunky but the sound was excellent and the bluetooth connection was rock solid.

Sadly I left them out in the garden a couple of years back without realising it and they got rained on. So long sweet Sony headphones!

I can't really wear headphones due to the position of my wheelchair headrest (it'd press them into the side of my head) and in-ear ones never seem to stay in properly.

After about five hours of listening - they are strawberry floating magical. The price is obviously prohibitive but as essentially a free upgrade I'm very happy. The warranty starts afresh as well.

Very happy boy today.

Am going down to London for tomorrow and Saturday, was going to get some tickets for the Harry Potter studio tour.

Turns out there's no tickets available whatsoever until strawberry floating August?! What?! Why the strawberry float is it so sold out?

because people going to London think its an attraction worth booking in advance

Utility, specifically water. I work compressed hours and have Fridays off but there's a side project in our team to bring data up to date which requires hundreds of man hours. It's not my normal role/job but the responsibility sits within our team to get it done, so overtime was made available about six weeks ago and I've been doing as much as possible.

Not at all, getting paid time and a half to do it as well. Coining it in (at the expense of my sanity).

I’ve definitely noticed changes to my mood and overall demeanour since mid-April, and I imagine you’re feeling the same way. How many hours are you for the week?

Taking a day off tomorrow to recover and go to the cinema as I’ll have hit the mandatory cap of 25 hours overtime per week at 6pm tonight that doesn’t reset until Sunday. Then off for five days for a History conference, then back to it a week on Monday.
