Wow, really sorry to hear about that man. Really glad someone who knew CPR was there to help.
Hope he pulls through ok.

Thanks mate. Need to stop reading up on this as the prognosis' are not great. Feel like a very long way from home in Warsaw just now, strawberry float knows how I'm going to get back to Edinburgh if I need to.

That’s awful mate, fingers crossed things are nowhere near as bleak as you’re imagining.

Appreciate it guys, thank you.

Apparently he can now remember what happened earlier in the day (had a lot of blanks and confusion initially) so I'm hoping any neurological damage is non-existent/ very limited. Will learn more tomorrow and hopefully speak to him on the phone then. Definitely be cracking a couple of beers on the house party app with mates tonight.

gooseberry fool Ian :( I'm sorry to hear it.

Sounds like he's doing well considering and fingers crossed there will be no lasting damage.

Will look forward to hearing good news after you've spoken to him tomorrow.

strawberry float, what a traumatic thing to happen. Shows how important CPR training is. Are you allowed to go see him?

Cheers guys, really do appreciate it. Beers and chat with friends has made me feel a little better although obviously still very worried.

I'm in Poland Clarkman, will really struggle to get back if needs be. No one's allowed in though due to coronavirus.

Sorry to hear about your Dad Roc. I hope he pulls through alright.

I also realised I never gave an update on my Brother-In-Law.

Turns out that it wasn't Covid (Thankfully). He had pneumonia and gallstones, which strawberry floated him over. As soon as they knew it wasn't Covid they got him out and back home.

I think the "There's nothing we can do for you" chat scared the gooseberry fool out of him so he'll be isolating properly now.

Thanks again for all the good wishes!

That is exactly the sort of food people who aren't getting out much at the moment should be eating.

Thank goodness they posted a recipe for the sausage and egg mcmuffin. It would be impossible to recreate otherwise, where would you even start, what could the ingredients be?

Edit: was hoping for the Chicken Select recipe myself.
Better fried chicken than KFC! There. I said it.
