They did say it could be "Up to an hour", how soon is too soon to phone and ask where it is?

Phone them. An hour is taking the piss.

It’d be two hours if he hasn’t got it yet.

I phoned them about an hour and a quarter after making the order in the first place and was told "It'll just be a few minutes".

Another half hour later I call again to tell them it still hasn't arrived, they say it should be on the way. I tell them if it's not here in 5 minutes then not to bother. 5 minutes later I was just calling up to cancel when it arrived. The food was still hot so clearly it hadn't long since been out of the place.

The most annoying part about it all was that the pizza was barely average.

Someone's just T-Boned my mum's car(I was driving with her in the passenger seat and the mrs in the back) with a Range Rover. He came through a red light and turned right, into our car. He's claiming that I went through the red light(I didn't) but that's for the insurers to sort out now. The whole driver's side is basically caved in. Arm's killing me but I think, looking at the damage, that I'm fairly lucky we were both going slow.

Glad you're ok! But if it's still painful in the morning I'd definitely head down to get the arm checked out at hospital.

Thanks babes

EDIT: And Laga

I'm alright, it's probably more the shock of the impact than actual injury. The whole thing's actually put the shitters right up me though, it wasn't like a major crash or anything but that's because I was driving my mum's jeep, which has still had the entire driver's side smashed in(the doors aren't usable). If I'd been in my own Corsa I dread to think what would've happened after being twatted by a Range Rover. :slol:

The thing you need to remember with modern cars is that crash damage always looks worse than it is because the car body is designed to crumple and absorb the impact so that the occupants don't.

Glad everyone is ok.

I was literally talking to my wife earlier on tonight about how many people I see deliberately running red lights in Glasgow these days. Usually Taxi drivers and Audi owners who feel that the Red light is merely a suggestion for other road users and doesn't apply to them.

Please tell me you have dash cam footage, Ben?
That would clear your name instantly, surely?

You're not wrong Devlin, it seems to be happening more and more in the city centre I'm finding as well, which is a little frustrating.

No Lew, I don't keep one on me but there are witnesses and CCTV footage. I think I've ran a red light once in my entire life and it was just after I'd passed my test, in the middle of the night, at a really weird junction where one traffic light was out. And even then there was no excuse for the idiocy!

Glad you're okay mate, were there any witnesses who can help the insurance claim?

Yeah, I find it incredible how well they can design them to absorb the damage. Unless you're Tesla...
