Right can this weather just strawberry float off now please. A month of solid rain is enough.

On GRcade this is an unpopular opinion, sadly.

The wind last night was insane. My house is the last one on the street and there's empty field next to us so we always get the brunt of any wind, woke my son up a bunch of times which woke me and the wife up a bunch of times. Plus the garden fence is battered so that's something else to spend money on in the tightest month of the year :x

Bloody weather, we should move to Mars and live underground.

gooseberry fool, falling apart fence bros, UNITE.

Seriously, my fence is being held up by a strategically placed car tyre. It has been for the last 4 months.

A mixture of that and being a lazy strawberry floater. I'm hoping to get it fixed in a few weeks.

A tyre is a good way of keeping up a fence? I just hope it hasn’t been dunlop sided.

I've never seen a broken fence when travelling in Europe, obviously continental is the way to go.

What base/foundation are you using for your fence? Remember that a solid bridgestone foundation will hold up better.

Yep, one of my garden fence panels has been destroyed AGAIN too. Every strawberry floating year now, and it's because the neighbours refuse to put a bush or tree in front of it to cushion the impact of the wind. I don't bother buying a new panel until April/May.

Clearly the way forward is to build an 8 inch thick brick wall. Wood eh, what's that all aboot. It's RUBBISH.

I think it's a bit harsh to blame your neighbours for not planting a bush or tree in front of your fence!
