Not sure how I feel about my car insurance being handled by Tesco though!

Tesco don't underwrite their own insurance (that's done by AmTrust Europe, a huge insurer), so you shouldn't worry about a claim not being paid or them going under or anything like that.

Yeah the underwriting is sound, it's more the customer services infrastructure, availability etc. that I'm slightly wary of.

I'll probably just go with them regardless as it's the cheapest option!

The vast majority of insurers use the same few outsourcing firms for a lot of their staff, I think. You’ll get pretty standard service across the board nowadays.

Also not sure who said it but while I’d always recommend phoning your current insurer up, you’ll very rarely get a reduction that brings the policy in line with new business premiums elsewhere.

It's all these sort of American Carnival food vendor sorts in a bizarre mix up of x-factor, MasterChef, Britain's got talent and Dragons Den.

The amount of crazy gooseberry fool they put on a stick and deep fry is mad.
Plus they don't call it food, it's product ("You've got a really great product" / "let's take a look at your product")

And there's some old Texan dude who does nothing but say:
"I recommend a FfWhite Flour tortilla" every time it's his turn to judge food.

8/10 would watch again.

I genuinely just had some of the worst nightmares I've ever had. I "woke up" in my nightmare like 3 times to different situations and all of them strawberry floating terrified me. I genuinely feel shaken up and nightmares haven't done that to me for many, many years.

Lewis, man, I appreciate the comprehensive post but I totally shy away from most fried stuff; I even find fish 'n chips to be a batter/grease-fest so these Texan dishes just turn my stomach . I went to a do a few weeks back and they had "corn dogs" there; my god, one bite and I felt ill .
