So how's this for a coinky dink.
As some people may know, in 2012 I went a-travellin' around South America. For the first three months I shacked up in a hostel in Bogota, Columbia and lived happily with a group of friends from all over the place. Just adjacent to us were a group of Frenchies who were...a bit aloof. A bit less willing to speak the Queen's than everyone else. But because I was there so long I got to know them. Slept with one, even. But then we all parted ways and, apart from the occasional insta photo, never really talked to any of them again.
Turns out my wife has a one to one meeting with one of them this afternoon.
I mean what are the strawberry floating chances?! I saw this girl's email sig on my wife's screen and recognised it immediately. After like 2 seconds of googling confirmed it was her. Batshit mental.
Oh and no, it's not the one I slept with. But she was that girl's mate, probably still is. Told the wife everything because she's not a child and we both think it's crazy.

There's something so addictive about watching shows like Nothing to Declare and Customs UK.
Watching the insane gooseberry fool some people try to just carry between countries, like literal suitcases full of fresh meat or half a dozen swords, and then their reactions to being told they can't bring them in are just hilarious.
