Just seen an advert for "Tesco Clubcard Plus", a Clubcard that you pay £7.99/month for. Which gets you 10% off a shop, but only twice per month.

I've never been there, but whenever I hear Prague mentioned my brain immediately thinks "stag weekends".
I was there about a month ago and I noticed signs up on the lampposts informing people of fines for drinking in the street. The signs were in English, that pretty much tells you all you need to know about the majority of Brits who go to Prague.

Yep, my average weekly shop there is about £140 so I'd be saving around £20 a month. Feels bad to pay for a loyalty card though.

If you can use that in conjunction with Tesco's credit card so you get extra points then it'd be even more valuable.

My wife’s got a Life in the UK test right now, I’m waiting outside the testing room. She’s really nervous about it - in theory it could make or break her entire application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK - but in reality I don’t foresee any problems. Still nervous though.

Yeah it didn’t. The system erroneously noted down some of her data and they didn’t even let her sit the test. They’re aware it’s their error but like strawberry float are they giving us the £50 back.
