The Discourse test forum, even in its current early stage, is orders of magnitude better than the current forum in terms of both UX and UI. Plus it actually has a dark mode, so it's automatically better anyway.

Yeah I really appreciate the dark mode on discourse.

This place scales better though - I usually keep the forum open in a little side window on my second monitor at work and phpBB works really well in a narrow window at ~70% zoom. Discourse doesn't like it as much sadly.
