Londoners are incredible. You wonder whether you'd be capable of doing the same.

You'd like to think so but I guess you never know. That was a hell of a large knife, scary prospect.

Point from BBC's home affairs correspondent-the fact that armed police were there meant the incident was going on for enough time for them to arrive. Likely they were holding him down for some time. Imagine the wait for the police, holding down someone who might have a bomb.

I'd try and tickle him, no-one likes being tickled.

Fair play to people for putting themselves on the line.

I do think the armed police response is pretty strawberry floating quick in these locations though so I doubt they were grappling him for too long!

They should have repeatedly punched him in the face (Quick Time Event) and pressed B to throw him over into the Thames, where he would have promptly exploded (cut-scene).

Police have confirmed he had a hoax suicide vest on, so not only were the police completely justified in shooting him, but the unarmed civilians that were restraining him should be given the freedom of London or a free shot at Boris with a crossbow.

Wow fair play to the people holding him down that would have been a horrible experience. Also props to the police for a swift action.

Off to a fancy dress party. 80's theme so i'm going as Stay Puft from Ghostbusters. No padding will be necessary.

Another incident in The Hague:

At least three people have been stabbed in an attack at a department store in a busy shopping street in The Hague, Dutch police say.

Police are searching for a man aged between 45 and 50, wearing a grey jogging tracksuit, who they believe may be behind the attack.

Images on social media showed emergency services at the scene amid crowds of Black Friday shoppers.

The condition of those injured and the motive for the attack remain unclear.

The incident happened at the Hudson's Bay store in the city's Grote Markt or main market square area, local reports say.

Video posted to social media showed dozens of shoppers running in the busy shopping street.

Police have urged the public to contact them if they witnessed the attack or see anyone matching the description of the suspect.

They also requested that anyone with images or footage of the incident send it to police.

Sounds like there’s a chance it could be coordinated or someone heard about the attack in London earlier and decided to copy it?

From the sounds of the news right now the guy who was shot by the police had already been disarmed and the vest was under a coat or shirt and it wasn't until the moved him it opened to be visible and they pulled the last guy off him and gooseberry fool instantly. If that's the case then while I don't condemn them for doing what they did, but if they didn't know about the vest and he was disarmed did they shoot unnecessarily? If this makes sense?

Work colleague has arrived.
The annoy-o-tron has been going off a goodun. :slol:

He's checked the alarm panel.
He's checked the card machine.
He's contemplating phoning IT because he thinks it's the printer. :slol: :slol: :slol:

Emits a high pitched beep at random intervals between 5 - 120 minutes.
The button battery means it can run for three months!

I've hidden under the veneer in my colleagues desk, inside a tiny gap and glued back over it.

He's off today and tomorrow.
I'll report back Monday.

Edit: it's just gone off. That's amazing! There's no way he'll trace it! :slol:
