I too am knackered. The lure of double time overtime was too strong with a visa bill of several grand looming so I’ve been caning in 20+ hours per week since I went back to work. Definitely takes a toll though.

+1. I already cram 38 hours into Mon-Thurs, then come in for overtime on Friday and Sat for an additional 15 hours... although my overtime is likely ending after this month so I can go back to working a normal amount and spending more time with my daughter.

Im supposed to be off this week but I need to go to pharmacy training today then I've got a senior management meeting about our new unit which should have opened today but lucky we're all late as gooseberry fool with preparations so quite grateful for the delay.

I say visa, the application is for indefinite leave to remain in the UK.

If I can keep the pace up for the rest of the year, that should be sorted, alongside all of the debt I managed to accrue as an undergrad(plus my car) finally being paid off without dipping into our standard wages. Hopefully we’ll be able to start putting serious cash away for a mortgage then too.

After reading your post I thought “that’s an expensive visa” and then assumed you meant a Visa credit card.

Indefinite leave to remain costs thousands? I know citizenship costs a lot, but didn’t realise leave to remain cost a similar amount.
