October is a respectable enough month to put the heating on, right? I don't think I can cope much longer. Getting into bed is actually quite painful.

Yeah October is fine, temperatures have dropped to about 2-4 degrees here on a morning when I'm getting out of bed

My wife has been struggling a bit with the temperature - even after five years here I don’t think she’s used to the cold in Scotland. I can usually get to mid-November before I find it necessary to do anything other than put a jumper on, but I think she’s had the heating on while I was away this weekend.

Trying to get glastonbury tickets can strawberry float right off

Didn't even have a sniff today, one person in our group got to the registration details page but it crashed out. Very frustrating, although I went to the last two so I've had my fair share of luck with it previously.

I missed the registration deadline (didnt know there was one!). But i've heard they release more tickets at a later date - i wonder if registration will be reopened?

Like putting a pen down - how is it possible to make that bang? A strawberry floating pen. Also opening a desk drawer, pulled and let to run to the end of its rungs with a hard stop, so the contents move like a bic and paperclip tsunami, loud rummaging, then a slam of the drawer so the contents end up clattering against the back.
