What's the best single extra thing I can buy to make the purchase as awkward as possible?

Tarp, bungee cord, extra strong sleeping pills and a magic eye puzzle.

Even now, like a quarter of a century later that clip still almost brings me to tears of laughter.

One of my favourite parts to that is how it sets up Marge happily washing broken dishes the next morning.

1st is a Buddleia
2nd I think is a Salvia
3rd is a Euphorbia
4th is another Buddleia
5th don't know
6th is another Buddleia
7th is a Clematis

They're all bulletproof just give them a water once a week. One more if it goes really hot and dry again.

5 looks like "Devil's Wart" - it only grows on the unhallowed graves of the restless dead, and simply taking a photo of the plant is enough to anger the vengeful spirits. RIP Joer.

Thanks everyone. Naturally a bit nervous about the Devil’s Wart but hopefully we’ll make it through the night.

Going by the second to last picture, I'm surprised your groundskeeper doesn't know his plants.

Look like weeds. Probably best to burn them just to be on the safe side.

We live in my partners grandparents bungalow that they built 50 odd years ago and it's got a huge garden. When they passed away, we was asked to move in to look after the property while we save for a mortgage of our own. Unfortunately, us trying to save with a mortgage has come at the same time as us saving for a wedding, a honeymoon, me being furloughed and losing half my income and buying a puppy who cost us more in vet bills and had to be put down two days later so we haven't got very far with saving yet!

The least we can do is try to properly maintain the garden while we're here. Especially as our wedding reception is supposed to be in the garden. :shifty:
