this is great
Are you stressed at the minute? I sometimes get a bit of sleep paralysis or hallucinations when particularly stressed or anxious about something.
I've never reacted "badly" to the disturbances though - when I wake up with paralysis I'm aware of what it is and just focus on wiggling my toes which makes my body wake up more quickly.
And I used to hallucinate that my wall was
heaving with spiders. They were everywhere, the whole wall was moving, very scary. I remember thinking "I'm way too tired to deal with all those spiders, I'll get them in the morning" and go back to sleep.
Weirdly though, my gf will often hallucinate or sleep talk and it always freaks me out. She'll wake up, say "there's a man at the foot of the bed" or "there's a monster in the corner", go immediately back to sleep, and I'll be up all night absolutely terrified
