She actually does do a lot of philanthropy, it's bizarre how she seems a compassionate person in some respects but then is an utter banana split of bigot at the same time.

Just a standard house but the channel 4 sitcom Home films in the house across the street so we've previously rented out our garden for their crew to set up a catering tent and rented out our drive for their equipment van. My sister knows the producer for this show from when she was doing a load of ITV shows which is how I got passed this offer.

Really lovely moment at work today.
Patient I admitted to my ward 13 years ago. Took his first major step to release. After years of struggling with his illness and the enormity of what he'd done we had a really nice positive chat and I gave him a lot of encouragememt and reinforcement.
I looked and he had tears in his eyes. Not gonna lie - it got me going too. He thanked me for my help.
A great part of the job.

In hospital for an operation. I've had a hernia for a while and was referred a month ago, Friday night it got stuck and had to go into A&E and they have rushed it through to get a repair so got a call at 9 saying can you come in now please (luckily they told me not to eat and drink from 2 am so I was ready in case they called). I've been through this before but still damn nervous.
