I would say that if anyone is planning on ordering anything from outside the UK for Christmas you should probably get it done as soon as you can. Imports coming in through the post are taking upwards of two months to clear through right now and it's only going to get worse as the number of packages increases. Frankly it might already be too late to get things into the country in time for Christmas from outside the UK.

No, Christmas shopping this year is going to be horrendous due to panic buying, get it done now and avoid potentially murdering somebody in rage.

On the plus side, by Christmas people will be really happy for half a bog roll.

merry christmas!

Pretty much!

Couriers (DHL, FedEx etc) won't have the same issue as they can get stuff in and cleared pretty sharp, but stuff coming through the post (Express or not) is going to be/is already strawberry floated.

You’re not allowed to enjoy the contributions of others if you’re out, Denster. You know that.

Actually, it’s probably time to start a thread for SS in the next week or two, isn’t it? I’m happy to do it again, unless Buff wants to take it back now he’s back in the game?

Excellent.

Your man here strawberry floated up big style earlier. I missed a class in the PGCERT I’m doing two weeks ago due to connection issues, and forgot to check the slides before this one. Of course I had to give a five minute presentation half way through the two hour class, and promptly (metaphorically) shat myself.
