Apple basically declare Power Adapter for iPhones is now an optional accessory for iPhone 12

Unless you are joining the eco system you have tonnes of those cables.

I have so many USB power adapters from phones over the years it ridiculous. It is wasteful to have another one in the box "just because" when it will end up in a draw somewhere.

It's just the plug through right? It will have a the usb cable still. I agree though. This is no doubt to save money on their part but on the other hand very few people will be disadvantaged by this and it will benefit the environment alot.

Well, no, I say them the same, like the diagram says.

I can't work out how to write it phonetically in the way I'd say it. That woman wasn't quite how I pronounce it, but was close enough.

It's definitely the right thing to do, every man and his dog has got at least one of these now and waste electronics is a huge problem.

Plus I'm sure Apple will be passing the cost saving on to the consumer...
