It’s really good, especially the duet with Bon Iver. Bryce Dessner from The National was pretty involved in making it so if you like this album and think a baritone voice would make it even better, check them out. If you already know them, well, yeah. It’s Taylor National. :shifty:

Looks as though they have a lot of material, any standout album you'd recommend?

Eh, I'd start at Boxer. Most folks think it's their best album and I'd hate to go against popular opinion. They describe themselves as "sad music for the upwardly mobile" so be prepared. :slol:

It's so weird hearing her say "strawberry float" :slol:

Wonder what the plan is for her next tour considering she never really managed to tour with Lover thanks to coronavirus kicking off :x

Lover was way better than Reputation, though.

I've just realised that Strava has made it that making your own route on their map systems now requires you to be on a paid account - something that's been free for years. strawberry floats sake, I barely use it, but that was useful to help me plan routes that were specific distances.

Seems to do the tricks.

Shame it's owned by under armour, their whole "you can stop us using your data, but you'll have to delete your account" thing really annoys me - which considering they own myfitnesspal is doubly annoying.

Reading some more about the Garmin ransomware attack and that's a big Oof.

$10million ransom demand and literally everything internal shut down.

It amazes me, I guess they just don't have backups of their servers.

They could restore all the servers to back before the infection and rebuild all machines and they'd be fine.

Depends on the type of backups they had, and how frequently they take them.

If they had full File System backups taken every day and retained for a period of at least a week then yeah they could just basically flatten what they've got, slap the backup on and get going again.
Most likely they only have Data backups though. That would mean they need to build new systems, reinstall the OS and all the applications then restore all of the data from backups. Depending on their infrastructure and how it's set up that's potentially new server names meaning possibly quite a bit of application reconfiguration as well to update what hostnames it's all pointing to.

I've had a headache most of today. This may be related to the guy across the street who's been using a pneumatic drill since about 9AM.

I think you'll find the real way to enact change is to whine to strangers on the internet.
