TV company wants to pay me £2000 for filming in my house for five, twelve hour days. Were it not a pandemic I'd probably negotiate that up but that sounds like a massive lowball and I can't be bothered leaving.

Then after she kindly cleans and bandages it for me, I get up to check where we're going to squeeze the rest of the furniture and immediately stub the wounded toe on a chair leg.

So as I'm hopping around shouting "bastard" and "strawberry float", I stub a toe on the other foot against the piles of new laminate that we're having fitted and that sends me into a full on, Basil Fawlty rage.

I'm going to just move one more bit of furniture today and then I'm going to sit in the garden and not move an inch.

I used to have the noise that Bob makes in that scene as my email notification.

She runs a food blog, it's all decorative stuff for photography because her mini home studio is where my stuff was. We have a small flat and she makes money on the blog, while I spend it on the games so there was only gonna be one winner.

They haven't said. They're not going to film anything if they think they can only pay me £400 a day.

Still sounds way too low.

Are they also offering to put you up in a hotel while the house is being used?
