Can't you just celebrate your sisters birthday the next day?

Just been looking on ebay at some of the prices old pokemon cards are selling for these days.

I actually have one of these packs, and at the time, i was given it for free!

I went to Lloyds bank today to open an ISA. The Lloyds woman told me that you can only deposit into one isa in the financial year. I thought you could deposit into multiple isas providing the total across those isas was no more than the yearly allocation (£20,000). Is she correct?

EDIT:

https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savin ... -cash-isa/

While you can only pay in to one cash ISA per tax year, you can have several old ones with several different providers............

It apears she is correct.

a) could he have scheduled any day?
b) did he know it was your sisters birthday?
c) maybe he had other things on his mind.

It all sounds rather pretty tbh.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Happened to me with my Grans Funeral and my Birthday about 10 years ago.

It wasn't possible to move to another day near that time, and my dad apologised, but it was no biggie.

I also don't know my nephews birthday without looking, so can imagine making the same mistake. Seems a lil unreasonable of your father but appreciate it's a stressfull and sad time for him and you all.

When it was my dad's send off, my brother made sure the date didn't clash with his wife's work meeting.

It was good to know he had his priorities in place.

Aldi actually aired a Christmas advert where they made their Kevin Carrot character into a Snowman's cock.
The absolute mad lads.

If you are over 18 and feeling a bit bored, why not saunter over to your free porn site of choice and search for 'snowman'.

There's a twist U didn't see coming.

I made the mistake of buying Rowntree’s Fruit Gums today. JESUS CHRIST how on earth do people eat these? They’re truly awful. They start off quite hard but then quickly adhere themselves to your teeth in the worst way imaginable.

I refuse to believe anyone but a sadist would purchase these devil sweets more than once. Should be banned.

Honestly they're one of my go to sweets. Way better than Fruit Pastilles. They were better in the tube instead of the smaller fruit shapes you get now though, as a disk shape they weren't quite so hard when cold.

Haven't had them in years but I always enjoyed them.

I do remember them wrenching one of my teeth from the socket when I was about 11 though, so I can see where KK is coming from.

Yeah there's definitely a technique to eating them. Start off like they're boiled sweets until they soften up a bit. Never bite directly down, needs more of a rolling chew.

Almost impossible to explain without sounding like bait for the No Context thread.

More like Gorilla Glue Gums.

I want to see receipts for this alleged purchasing and a video professing your love of these PERVERT SWEETS so I can see if you’re lying through your teeth. Which you won’t be able to, because if you had really eaten them your mouth would have been glued shut.

Two chews and the gum had ended up stuck to either side of my teeth, where it shall now remain until my teeth rot and fall out.

Should have bought Maynards Wine Gums.

Just spent two days in rural Mississppi meeting the hard-core gun loving redneck side of my future in-laws.

That was.....interesting. And terrifying.

Very much so.

An AR-15 is heavier than it looks, and less recoil than you'd think.
And really strawberry floating terrifying to hold.
