I think more often then not in these cases, it takes something far more significant to influence someone.

Violent videogames become a natural outlet for people in those situations-they are a symptom, not the cause.

Called the whole video game angles the day it happened. Somehow it would be video games fault once again. Not the fact that he could just be mentally ill, no, It's the video games

Also, I just read this bit in the article on the Daily Mail

They said he had previously threatened to commit suicide after complaining of bullying and had experimented with drugs.
