Just completed first level. So charming and fun to play. A game made to make people smile.

Played the first 4 levels solo, good fun. Then played the first level in 4 player online co-op, could barely see what was going on, will be even worse in 6 player.

Played the first 3 levels so far and it’s great! Love all the little nods to the cartoon series with the secrets and the nods to the classic games as well. Soundtrack is on point and the animations on the characters are great (The foot doing sit ups :lol:

Online seems a bit busted at the moment, tried to join a game on Switch and it crashed my game. Second time I tried it was really laggy. Will wait for that to be sorted out before trying it again.

Music is really good.... Only negative so far is vehicle based levels. So frustrating trying to hit the flying enemies.

Played 3 levels on my wife's account by mistake but very much enjoyed what I did play. Combat seems maybe more tactical than SoR4 but still simple enough to play with plenty of room to master.

The Y+B attack works well I find, or double jump+attack

Just done the shopping mall level, loved the cameos in that one :wub:

I also only just realised you can taunt to build up your special meter :lol:

Loving this tho, can see me playing through it multiple times with the different characters.

The taunt (R1 on PlayStation) is super useful. One quick press and 1 full super meter. It's OP but in a good way.

I'm getting close to the end of the story mode. I like how each character gets powered up separately so there is an incentive to finish the game with everyons.

Amazing to think we've had this, streets of rage 4 and Scot pilgrim re release in the space of a couple if years. Now if only they'd re release Alien Vs Predator arcade, Simpsons Arcade and X-Men arcade on home consoles.

Bought it on Switch.

I played one level on both Xbox and Switch. I found a bit interesting between both versions and I prefer Switch controller, as I can bash the buttons and make a nice combo better!

I played through this on Series S last night on stream and it's a lot of fun. You can tell this is a labour of love made by fans of the franchise with all the references and little nods to the toy line like the Knucklehead and Foot Cruiser turning up.

Most likely, depends on the price I guess. Hopefully it'll come to Gamepass. I had the 360 port of Turtles Arcade but it's long since became unavailable same as X-Men. Speaking of which I'd love to see Dotemu try their hand at a new X-Men side scroller or maybe a new Sunset Riders.

EDIT: I had no idea until looking through this thread that the theme song was being sung by Mike Patton.

I don't think I really watched the turtles back in the day but I did have a VHS with one episode on it that I watched repeatedly.

So I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of cool references. Excellent game so far though, glad I bought it.

Excellent game. Really well made and polished. The music is outstanding with the end credits being a real highlight.

12 missions down so far, it’s such a fun game to play, agreed on the soundtrack having some bangers, it’s on Apple Music so shall give that a listen.

I would like Tribute Games to do the same with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers next.

I'm enjoying it. Pretty perfect Switch game. The way characters power up is a bit confusing and the controls aren't great but it looks lovely has some cool features and seems to have plenty of replayability.

Finished. It was well fun and the co-op was brilliant. :toot:

Played for an hour. Not sure I like it as much as Streets of Rage 4, although got to go back and play some of the levels again. Seems pretty short I think I'm at level 12 or something. Don't know how much is left but think I need to get some coop going.
