Tesla’s Cybertruck Is a Vehicle for the Adult Baby Class War
Ultimately, the Cybertruck is for people who at least aspirationally imagine their domestic world to be a war zone. It's probably not a coincidence that APC-like vehicles already roam civilian streets, piloted by increasingly militarized police. The fact that Tesla's anti-prole tank is all-electric is only the icing on the cake. Save the planet, but for whom?

At first I was going to say "nah, it's just because he likes the DeLorean" but the more I think about it, you may be onto something. He lives out in the middle of nowhere and has a room in his house dedicated to mining bitcoin. Clearly he is preparing for the downfall of society.
tl;dr Tesla head of security phoned the local police stating they'd received a call from a former employee claiming he was on his way to the gigafactory to shoot it up. The police gear up and head out, only to find said employee is in hiding with his wife and infant son. Turns out:
- the former employee was a whistle blower who had gone to various news outlets with info that Tesla batteries were inherently unsafe and that working practices at the factory were negligent - He had previously been held for questioning by Musk's men for something like 12 hours over several sessions - The initial call, that the head of security claimed had come from the employee himself, was actually from a 'friend' of the employee and whose origin was never traced. - The employee own zero guns and was in a state of shock when. confronted by armed police
Musk tried to SWAT a whistle blower. The guy could have been shot

Those bitcoins will be worth a fortune after the apocalypse.

Musk is a horrible human being so this doesn't surprise me, but that more people don't call him out for this gooseberry fool is something that is a constant frustration.
He's trying to talk his way around why his "armoured" glass truck smashed so easily now as well:
Either your glass is unbreakable enough to take a good whack with a hammer or it's not.
If it's not, don't try to market it as INDESTRUCTIBLE glass, just fess up that it's essentially normal hardened glass.
I'm sure this isn't the first time someone's tried to come up with invincible glass and then someone's effortlessly cracked it - wasn't there a moment like that on some kind of gadget / tech show years ago?
Elon Musk quick to reassure investors that while the Cybertruck window did indeed break on stage, no woman at Tesla has yet managed to break through the glass ceiling

I agree, he is a genuinely terrible person but I think the internet had a lot of love for him in the past due to his SpaceX efforts. However, I think more and more people are beginning to realise what he's like, especially after that Thai cave stuff.

Yes I believe it was a JCB or similar brand indestructible phone for worksites etc. They dropped it in a fish tank etc and then cnet or somewhere smashed it face down into a table repeatedly and it shattered
This is probably the worst of these "unbreakable glass" demonstrations:
Police said a lawyer demonstrating the safety of windows in a downtown Toronto skyscraper crashed through a pane with his shoulder and plunged 24 floors to his death. A police spokesman said Garry Hoy fell into the courtyard of the Toronto Dominion Bank Tower early Friday evening as he was explaining the strength of the building’s windows to visiting law students. Hoy previously had conducted demonstrations of window strength according to police reports. Peter Lauwers, managing partner of the firm Holden Day Wilson, told the Toronto Sun newspaper that Hoy was “one of the best and brightest” members of the 200-man association.
