Just get a game boy and a copy of Tetris it's a better game.

not got any higher than 4th place so far, I shall though, shall push through and get that top 3 spot eventually

12 hours of play time. Level 33. 222 games. About 6 2nd place finishes. Finally got my first win
EDIT: Got my second win on my 236th game. You can definitely improve. My tactic is just to stick with attacking Attackers.

I blame Denster for my addiction to this. I'm not too good at it (my highest is 9th now). I hate it when you have a load of people attacking you from the get go. I've played about 5 games where I've had 5 people target me from the very start!

The first Tetris 99 event,
Maximus Cup, runs from Friday 8 March to Sunday 10 March!
March 8 at 5 a.m. PT through March 10 at 11:59 p.m. PT
Get ready to participate in the Tetris® 99 MAXIMUS CUP online event, beginning on March 8th! Win first place (you’ll see TETRIS MAXIMUS on the results screen when you do) as many times as you can! After the event, the top 999 players with the most TETRIS MAXIMUS wins will be notified, and will each receive 999 My Nintendo Gold Points!
The timings for GMT work out as 1300 Friday through 0759 Monday. Are any of you guys gonna give it a go?
