Oh yeah agreed, lets forward this to the police. Show them GR is not to be messed with. Obviously Goat/Nood didn't learn his lesson the first time they did this hacking gooseberry fool, so lets teach them a lesson.

Well done and thanks to the team for sorting all that gooseberry fool out, not much of a fun way to spend your Sunday.

I'm still at a bit of a loss as to....well, what the hell was the point of what the three of them did?! Was it purely to try and get others banned? Did they have any particular grievance against the site or anything? It's just really odd. And really really gooseberry fool.

Thanks to everyone for sorting this mess out. It's sad to think that regular members would want to spoil GRcade for everyone, but it's heartening to know that this community is supported by a team of extremely cool dudes who are willing to go above and beyond to keep the forum running. Thanks.

I never really had any dealings with the perpetrators, but I'm glad that legal/criminal prosecutions are being sought, as anyone who thinks doing this sort of thing is in any way good or funny is the worst example of a human being ever, they will not be missed.

On a happier note, major thanks to the mod team, well done in getting things back to normal so quickly.

It's quite scary to think that while the majority of Thé forum were enjoying their banter and comments, they were not only planning this but actually eyeing up which members to pin the blame on. I don't know if we'll ever know their true motives, though I'd wager they didn't have any other than to be dicks, I dunno maybe they wanted to try and split the community for whatever reason.

Will we get to see screenshots of their PM's where they discussed planning this hack?

I am not a prolific poster, but I visit and browse the site every day, and being pretty busy myself it is a most welcome distraction for me. A big thank you then to those guys who gave up (and indeed still give up) their spare time to ensure that this little corner of the internet is there for us when we need it.

Awesome efforts getting this place back up and running so quickly, given the extent of the crap that went on.

I can only imagine what they possibly thought would come out of it. I presume they had decided they'd had enough of belonging to this forum - it's not as if we'd all find it hilarious and welcome them back.

Unless they genuinely thought they'd get away with it? Idiots.

Thank God we have the child/man genius Karlprof and the all-seeing GG to watch over us all.

On the plus side, Elbo was consistently beating me in the Mario Kart time trials, so I will hopefully go up a rank this week. 8-)

In all seriousness, I would be interested to see their chat logs etc, just to get an idea of why they thought this would be a good thing to do. However if the whole thing is going legal/official I understand it could be evidence, and thus probably not fit for public consumption.
