How can you go 'heavy' in golf?

"It's pretty awesome, it's a dream come true. I don't really pay much attention to golfing history but this is really unreal. I honestly didn't know what the Ryder Cup was like but the feeling you get when they shout your name...It aint nothing like shooting a deer, it's a whole lot more."

I wish I had sky to see this, was stuck with the fivelive commentary and bbc text updates online.

For people that watched it, what was the team atmosphere like, I had a worrying feeling beforehand about Faldo, given his "I'm doing this for ME ME ME!" speech in the lead-up, and the terrible decision to not take Monty. The previous 3 ryder cups have been incredible for the European teams, they seemed to gel and have a common purpose and will to win. I can't judge this one as I haven't watched it, but reports make me think that a lot of that was missing. Not just from the captain, but where were the inspirational players?

Garcia not playing well is a big shock as he has been in near-perfect form in his recent ryder cups.

Hopefully I'll have sky back for the next one as I really missed watching it this time round.
