Something to do with mass immigration to Liverpool on the east side of the Lee about a hundred years ago, I think. When they returned, they brought a terribly strange accent back with them.

I'm torn between wanting to find out live (bbc live text) or waiting and watching the bbc highlights tonight without knowing anything about it...

So does anyone know did the names on the list that the camera's caught Faldo holding end up being anthing like those who are actually going to line up with each other?

Yes it was exactly those pairings who started this afternoon :lol: what a blooper. Very shakey start, 3up in 2 matches and halving both is definitely :fp: worthy

On Sky they're questioning the style of play of a guy on the 18th - saying if the officials allow it, he'll get away with it.

What's he doing wrong - time wasting or something?

Just seen an interview of faldo after the morning foursomes. i cant see him being an inspiration to the players.
