Metro 2033, on Very High settings but at only 1280x800...limited by monitor. Gonna see about getting brand new monitor for 1600x1000 or whatever highest is, but for now:

While the game is nothing special, it's pretty good fun so far and it does look nice in places. Got to Chapter 3 now.

Serious Sam 3. Initial hesitations to this has turned to pure love. This game is strawberry floating ace! This is what Duke Nukem Forever should have been like. The lines are cheesy, but the game knows it, however the action is top notch. If you loved any of the past games then get this. It's great.

More screenshots, from Metro 2033, Dead Island and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City:

Metro 2033 - Mainly odd deaths, and pretty guresome first picture (but so sweet, he deserves it for scaring me out :shifty: ) Looks very nice too

And spoiler at end of Metro 2033 (bad ending), I liked it so much I had to take screenshot of it:

Dead Island pictures - While not outstanding graphics, it still looks nice

And dat shadow :fp:

And glitches, although this is rather funny - was playing with Silva & Mafro, and Silva just kept jumping from one side to another like madman.

Clocked up 24hours at end of my first playthrough as Xian, pretty good value for £15

GTA Vice City - My favourite GTA game, plays well (although combat is awful, I've forgotten that already) and looks good. Would look amazing if frame limiter is turned off, but for some reason it crashes when in cutscenes even if I skip them or not (or long loading if not crashing) but for gameplay it's fine, just cba to turn it off and on every time I had to trigger mission. Oh well, looks good for old game.

Wish I can do 1600*1000 or whatever highest resoultion is though, would be pretty sweet. I'll have to see about getting new monitor next year. Sorry for bunch of screenshots, next time I'll take it easy and send one or two screenshots each game :P

Wow, that looks good.

It's almost enough to make me want to play the terrible original again.

Almost.

This option doesn't affect cursors and aim indicators, though.

Skyrim. This game is just...wow.

I thought the artwork for the main locations in Fallout 3 was amazing, I was seriously impressed with some of the main locations in New Vegas, and now Skyrim is putting itself up there already with the artwork and locations.

I've tried not to add anything spoilery, but if you haven't played Skyrim, then don't look at it, you'll want to savour every bit of it the first time you play it.

I really don't know why this guy is giving me a saucy look, but whatever, my character don't swing that way.

You'd probably like it more if you crank up the graphics and use a few polish mods.

I wasn't expecting to be that bowled over by Skyrim. The environments are really beautiful and fun to walk around.

A lot of locations are just turd, like going through the mountains and forests just feels like you're going through the motions, but when you get to the dungeons and the locations marked on the map, it's something to behold, especially because the graphics are not really that great. I'm really impressed with the artwork, the geometry and architecture that they've created.

Cross posting for the HD pics.

Also, I don't really know what's going on, I play this game mostly at night, and some of it just strawberry floating scary. Like my companion.

At first I thought she was just squinting in the sunlight.

Image

Then I was hearing NPCs saying to me I might be diseased, so I thought she might be too, so I went to get healed, but that did nothing.

Image

Then it got worse, she wouldn't stop morphing, I didn't know if she was gunna go all super saiyyan, go werewolf or vampire....

Image

Image

Image

Slowly but surely she just kept getting worse, and I was getting a little unnerved. I took one last look at her....

Image

....and then I put her down for good before she tried anything on me. Well done Bethesda, that was probably the most unnerving/scary thing I've come across in an Elder Scrolls game, I thought she was going to turn on me at any moment. I killed her before she could betray me anyway, so tough titties on her.

This is just ridiculous, at times I feel like I'm playing through some CGI game when I discover locations that look so lovingly crafted.

None of these are spoilery, but if you haven't played the game, do not look at the screenshots, just wait till you play the game so you can be pleasantly surprised.

It's not the best looking MMO for sure, but it's fun enough to play.
