We should play some Evolution if it's been released for the alpha/beta yet. It's basically like a mini-MMO type thing. You assault towns as a team, gaining points as you go allowing you to use better weapons and vehicles. You can also get side missions like blow up a convoy, or assassinate a general. It's awesome.

It's persistent too, so once we get bored for the night we can resume our progress the next time without losing any of our weapons and gooseberry fool.

When you say persistent, does that get stored on the server? I always think it would be cool to have our own ARMA server for missions and stuff. It's working out how to install it properly, and also be able to give people Admin permissions that work without me having to be involved. I think at some point soon I'll look into this and give it a good try.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Well at this stage, it looks like there's no Linux dedicated server ready yet anyway, but they're promising one soon. We'll just keep an eye on things.

Yeah, if everyone leaves the game just stays as it is, to be picked up when more people join again.

I'm familiar with a few admin commands when we used to vote me admin on ArmA/2 servers. It's all pretty simple.

I was voted admin when we used to play. We just kicked anyone who joined so it was just our group. Then I ended up kicking the guy who owns it.
