Gutted about that one, Produgy are one of the three or four best live acts I’ve ever seen.

Liam Howlett (the main guy who the band is names after - he was a child musical prodigy) is the guy who confirmed he took his own life. He used 'brother' in the 'mates' sense.
I think they’re named after Howlett’s favourite synthesiser.

strawberry float that's horrible.
My wife has seen them live at least 5 times, and her brother a ridiculous 22. She's gutted.

A damn shame, highlight of any night out is if the DJ drops a prodigy song. Any of them.

I'm shocked that he died so young.

I've been listening to The Prodigy since I was around 12 and am genuinely gutted by this news.
RIP Keith.

Saw them at T in the Park in 96, not a fan but they were awesome. Real shame to go at 49.

The Prodigy were probably the first band I really loved and I still put them on regularly now. I've been lucky enough to see them live three times - the first time at V festival I got a bloodied nose from a flailing elbow, the second time in Cardiff I almost fainted from the heat/dehydration and the third time at Download a crowdsurfer kicked me in the face and chipped my tooth.
Fantastic each time, Keith had so much energy, buzzing around like a mad thing. RIP
