I was staying at the same little hotel as him once, we kept meeting each other by accident over the course of the weekend which his film crew found hilarious. After the comedy show we'd been to finished, on the way back I said we (as in me and the wife, not Derek ) should go for a drink in the hotel bar. "I bet we bump into Derek acorah again!". Sure enough, just as we've sat down he walks in and the only spare seats are by me. He looked well pissed off and his crew were laughing their arse off
