Possibly the worst list I've ever seen. It does have some of the best games, but many classics are missing and many bizarre choices. Number 1 is particularly hilarious :lol:

It's got Super Mario RPG in there and games from last gen.

Fallout 3 isn't out yet neither is PES 2009, therefore list fails.

It reads more like a list of the last 50 games the person who wrote it played.

A truly bizzare compilation.

I'm pretty sure the Civ Rev picture is from Railroads. A completely different series of games.

At least they made the effort. Or should we behead those who try to bring gaming to the mass market?

If they're going to mess it up, they just shouldn't bother at all, really.

Super Mario RPG has just been released on the VC. First time it's ever been released in the UK so I guess is counted as "new".

What Fallout 3 is doing on the list is beyond me though. Whoever wrote the piece obviously didn't do any research.

I was pleased they included Rock Band, but then I noticed Guitar Hero III's addition. Then I noticed this:

"After refining the existing, and rather sloppy, hammer-on and pull-off techniques its forerunners featured,"

They obviously didn't play Guitar Hero II. :fp:

It depresses me that this person was paid to write that.

Lego Indiana Jones above Orange Box?

Guild Wars in the top 10?

What the actual strawberry float?!

I don't think it's an actual "Top 50 Video Games" piece more of a "50 newish games our reporter can find images of on the internets" piece.
