A man who made the same accent work across roles from pretty much every country. God damn he was a suave bastard though. RIP Mr Bond

I bought the soundtrack on cassette tape and listened to it so many times. It's amazing how it's not just background noise but there is so much story told in the music. The movie was the perfect end of a trilogy. He played the mischievous mentor in some of my favourite films with him, my favourite films full stop; Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the Rock and Highlander.

In the whole Roger vs. Sean deabte that's been raging for the last 40 years, I have to say I'm firmly in the Roger camp. I believe no one could wear a safari suit with the same degree of casuality.

He was in a lot of great films and I'm never happy to see anyone die, but I'm a little uneasy about the outpouring of grief over someone who openly advocated hitting women and was *insanely* problematic.

His interview where he straight up advocates domestic abuse and the fact he was violent in his first marriage put me off him.

One of the very very few domestic abusers to defend their actions and not apologize for them.

Interview for those who are interested....

Wish my image sig would work

Sadly given his outstanding contribution to cinema, he was an absolute piece of gooseberry fool.

I enjoyed his work when I was younger, but I will not mourn an unapologetic domestic abuse advocate.
