I think someone pointed this out to me years ago when watching them both in Zoolander but yeah I think in general it's not a link that people would necessarily make!

I didn't know he was called Jerry stiller, I only recognised him from searching just now to see who it was. I think I've only seen him in zoolander, but I'm sure I must have seen him in other things.

He's done all sorts, but yeah Seinfeld is probably the thing most would recognise him from. Might have to do a re-watch of it now in his honour!

Seinfeld is the obvious choice, but I've never watched much of it, so I don't really associate him with it. I watched plenty of King of Queens when I was younger, though. Steaming bag o' shite though it was, it's saving grace was Jerry Stiller.

He was amazing in Seinfeld and did so much with only a couple of lines per episode. Obvious highlights were

Festivus,
Serenity Now!
Stop short,
Million to one shot doc , a million to one
The man bra

The full 9 seasons are on 4 on Demand. Hasn't aged a day.

Wish my image sig would work

The wife was hot...I think the actress (Leah Rimini or something like that) got wrapped up in scientology and lived to tell the tale.

Yeah, I think she did a documentary about her experience not too long ago.

Apparently Des O'Connor is still alive. I'm stunned.

Willie Thorne has died.

I'm pretty gutted about this. He used to live in the same village as me, I served him in my shop quite a few times. :(

As a child I always found it amusing when the commentators would say "Willie" during the snooker. I'm sure his name was said more than anyone else's

A few of us here once played in a poker tournament that he was also in, but I don't think any of us actually ended up on the same table.
