I hadn't heard of the guy before, but damn, 34 is way too young!

Just told about this by Cora. So happy I was able to see him live in January of last year.

Wow, I bet that was special!

One of my favourite ever composers. A true legend.

RIP

A legend in the truest sense of the word.

Probably the best moment I ever had at a gig was at Wembley when they played the Ecstasy of Gold scene from TGTBATU on the big screens prior to a Metallica gig. It was electrifying.

Pretty sure that isn't the title.

The Mission soundtrack will probably always be my favourite of his. RIP.

Once Upon a Time in America is one of my favourite films, and the soundtrack is a big part of why. So many good pieces of music this man composed.

I was a sobbing mess throughout it all. And then Cinema Paradiso was the encore and I just fell apart.

Oh! So that's where the Metallica intro song is from!
(I should watch TGTBATU at some point in my life...)

I didnt realise Stuart Gordon, best known as the filmmaker behind such cult classics as “Re-Animator” and “From Beyond,” died of multiple organ failureat the age of 72 back on the 24th of March, guess theres been so many celeb deaths recently a few have slipped past me.

Could the Glee Curse have struck again?

Remaining original cast members will be getting very nervous...

I wouldn't say i believe in curses, but jeez, that's a dreadful record for one show to have.
