That's dreadful. Absolutely no age. Really brings it home when healthy looking people get taken in the prime of their life. Its a fragile thread.

My eldest is going to be in pieces. Kobe hit her hard and I can imagine this will be the same.

And it goes without saying- strawberry float cancer.

Thought this was a joke for a minute when I saw it on Facebook. My wife and I watched 42 last night (great film by the way). Absolutely shocked. Such a loss.

I didn't know too much about him personally but i was very sad to wake up to this just now. He was a young man at his prime, taken away by cancer.

There's a previously unpublished short interview with him discussing why Black Panther needed a black director.

It's awful news, I'm glad he was at least able to keep it private this whole time like he obviously wanted to.

I was awake last night when the news first broke. Such a weird feeling when I saw it. Was absolutely amazing to see Black Panther become a fully fledged movie. RIP.

Ah man, I just realised he played James Brown in Get On Up. I didn't know who he was at the time, but he was fantastic in it. So much so that I was convinced just now that the real James Brown played his older self in it, despite having died 8 years prior. :slol:

Wow that's shocking, I've still not seen Black Panther but he stood out in Civil War and the Avengers films. So sad, because he really seemed so full of life.
