Did the Tiger get put down after the 2003 attack?
I would have to go through all the old Celebrity Death Threads to find that out.
That's okay, I'll wait.
BBC (2003) "He was mauled by the male white tiger during a show at the Mirage resort in Las Vegas on 3 October.
The cat, a seven-year-old white tiger called Montecore, grabbed Horn by the neck and dragged him off stage.
Animal experts have disputed Fischbacher's suggestion that the creature was trying to help his stage partner after he slipped".
That seems like the equivilant of "accidentally" falling on a hairbrush.....
No confirmation of whether the tiger bought the farm though. But at best its now 24 years old, and a quick google of "how long does a tiger live" suggests it probably in provoked animal violence heaven by now. Or ageing magician hell.....
We saw their show at the mirage back in the day, it was really good. We also saw David Copperfield at caesers palace, which was brilliant, and pretty surreal as this was before the internet, so you only saw him as this sort of mythical being that appeared every few years in some big magic stunt.
Saw Penn and Teller do the bullet catch trick live in Vegas a few years back, that was a good show. They both stood around in the foyer afterwards for anyone who wanted a photo. I got one taken with Penn but by that point Teller was swamped so we left.
We were going to see them in Vegas when on our wedding trip, and for the 2 weeks we were in the US, they were in the UK
Ended up seeing Chris Angel at the luxor, who wasn't that great considering he's billed as one of the world's greatest magicians. As we were sat in an isle seat near the front we lucked in to him setting a table up beside us to do an up close trick, which was pretty cool.
