I still remember when BB offered the housemates 'breakfast in bed', and when the moment came, holes in the roof appeared and the food was dropped on them as they slept.

Bloody tragic about poor Nikki. Just youtubed her to check she was one I thought she was and came across her last interview - strawberry float I wish I didn't see that. Anorexia :(

That was the only big brother I ever watched - I remember that as being a really fun summer. Russell Brand did a spin-off show that year called Big Brothers Little Brother before he went all spritual, recluse - I loved that show and its still the best thing he's ever done.

Nikki was the best housemate ever - fun, bubbly and weirdly articulate with her hilarious tantrums. Seems like she was on big brother a bunch of times on all the celebrity and international shows too.

They had a really good selection of contestants that year (Pete, Aisleyne, Susie (who is she? where did they find her?) etc), though my favourite series will always be BB5 which had the likes of Nadia, Victor the rubbish gangster, Ahmed the plate smasher, Michelle the bunny boiler, Stuart who's hat was taken away by BB and burned, and the gobby woman who came back into the house after the secret room twist (first time they did that) and triggered fight night (when everyone was in fancy dress which made the whole thing even more hilarious).

:(

That was one of the labels he was given at the time, always seemed like a decent chap though, and the role he played in fight night was great fun.

Slick Vic was the best BB contestant of all-time.

Don't forget Jason, the other half of the Jungle Cats.

And Barcelona Marco.

Still annoys me that Nadia, one of the most annoying people ever got sympathy voted to the win.

Some choice Slick Vic quotes:

I'm the Slickman, Rapper-slash-part time hitman

I'm the slick VIC, the ghetto the VIP; mess around with me you'll be RIP

My DNA stands for 'Dis Negro's Attractive'

Stop calling the show 'Big Brother'; start calling it 'Slick Brother'

I've decided to become the George Bush of this house, under my administration we won't stand for terrorists

The day are slow, slower than Vanessa Feltz's metabolism

She's about as shaky as Rik Waller doing the Riverdance on a three legged tea table

Sometimes when she talks, I feel like I have to get on the blower to Kofi Annan, and get him to bring down one of his UN interpreters to translate what the strawberry float she's saying

We don't need diplomats for Christ's sake; Dan's sat on more fences than Worzel Gummidge. He's held more butts than a nightclub ashtray

I remember Ahmed shouting “I HATE him”. Think it was about Marco, who was indeed annoying as hell.

Best housemate, IMO: Science. He went out of his way to wind everyone up, and it was delightful. Like when Orlaith screamed at him to leave her alone, and he just said, “Errr, NO?!”

Didn't Derek from that season say that Science made him ashamed to be black, or words to that effect?

I believe he said "he’s the first black man that’s ever made me capable of joining the BNP". amazing season.

Unconfirmed reports, but I'm seeing a couple of people mention that Prince Phillip might have passed away. Apologies if I'm jumping the gun here.

I've not heard anything, might be just a rumour.

Tried Googling but can't find anything, the palace must be keeping this one quiet.
