Indeed. Slipknot at DL09 is still pretty much recognised as the best headline performance in the history of the festival, and he was a massive part of their live shows before he was booted from the band. This is a tough one to take, in a parasocial sort of way.

The guy with the long nose was Chris Fehn, he was a percussionist alongside the clown Shawn Crahan. He left the band and filed a lawsuit regarding withheld earnings and questionable business practices.
