He has Alzheimers, diagnosed in 2016, so I wouldn't expect him to be away from this thread for too long I'm afraid.

Gerd Muller, aged 75 apparently, and not several months ago.

He's had Alzheimers the last 6 years. Such an awful condition.

His goalscoring records are stunning.

I’d imagine a lot of players from that era will end up with incurable conditions like Alzheimer’s. It’s happened to a few of the Lisbon Lions as well. Probably time to have a genuine conversation about banning headers.

Sean Lock's died of cancer at 58. Really sad, I was binging 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown clips this weekend so he's particularly fresh in my mind
