It's always a huge shock when a sportsman dies that young; you just assume they get checked out regularly for heart conditions.

Obviously it's still a big shock but he was heavy drinker and smoker, liked his food and got into trouble for cocaine usage during his career. He wasn't exactly the model athlete.

He was a pretty good actor, one of the standout movies he was in (for me at least) was Gorky Park.

Broadcast News is excellent, I only watched it a few weeks ago. He was in a number of great films, though obviously probably better known to people these days as Thunderbolt Ross from the MCU. Sad about this one.
