This one really hurts. She was a true trailblazer and worked for years championing BIPOC women in STEM. May she rest in peace

Christ there's been some awful loss recently. I'm still reeling from Tim Sale. I was so thrilled to meet him a few years ago. Warner Cribbing and Uhuru is too far.
David Warner was an absolute gent. He was chuckling while he told me how much he enjoyed beating up DiCaprio on Titanic.

That's a lot of great people in a short space of time. :( :( :(

I remember him making exceedingly good cakes.

Edit - Sorry, that was Dr Crippen.

Common confusion around that one - you're thinking of the Duke of Wellington.

Olivia Newton-John has died aged 73. Probably best known for playing Sandy in Grease.

I remember watching Grease in the early nineties after my sisters had rented it from Blockbusters (or maybe even Ritz  ). I think it came up in discussions with my mum that I didn't fully understand that Olivia Newton John wasn't well and I assumed that she'd, for want of a better term and with a young child's gaze, be an absolute wreck and wouldn't be long for this world. Thirty years is a strawberry floating brilliant result. RIP to her.
